Results verification can be done using QC sample on the acquisition sequence, which is usually add positive control sample on top and bottom of the sequence. Long term monitoring of such QC sample results and its variance indicates overall quality of the analysis. For example if user analyze samples for quantitative analysis and discover 10% (N=3) difference in between control and test. In case long term variance of QC sample (ex. N >= 1000) is CV=1%, then 10% difference is significant. However, if QC sample has CV=5%, 10% difference with only 3 trials may need more replicates.
